Here's Barbara Anthony in 1946, presenting Allen Heath a trophy for his 1945 brief season championship. Car was the Seth Reining #2, V-8 60, Mel Anthony collection.

Shorty Templeman in the Kurtis Offy owned by Johnny Snider at Jantzen Beach Arena in the early 1950s. Woody Herman (bandleader) along with trophy girl are making the presentation.  There was a
dance hall at Jantzen Beach very near the race track.  Woody Herman was a
race fan and he arranged to have an intermission at the dance hall in order
to make the presentation.  Note that Pat Vidan, the starter in Oregon and
Washington in those days is standing off to the right.  Pat later became the

Car #20, owned by Swede Goddard, driven by Paul Pold. The trophy presenter is the late Tina King wife of the late midget car owner, Warren King. The car was later sold  & Shorty Templeman drove it to five championships, photo from Mel Anthony collection.
